Indonesia's Astra 9-mth net profit up 13 percent


JAKARTA, Oct 28 (Reuters) - Indonesia's largest automotive firm, PT Astra International Tbk , said on Friday it booked a net profit of 4.49 trillion rupiah ($449 million) or up 12.6 percent in the first nine months of this year compared to the same period last year. The nine-month revenue of the second most valuable company on the Jakarta bourse jumped 48 percent to 46.42 trillion rupiah. Jardine Cycle & Carriage Ltd owns about half of Astra's shares.
