In the 2017 usage-based insurance study, LexisNexis Risk Solutions examined consumer car-purchasing preferences and provided a number of insights into what consumers want and need ― especially in regards to advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and Connected Car features as they relate to UBI.
These insights have the potential to enable a stronger partnership between automakers and insurers. Such collaboration can result in the delivery of valuable, customer-friendly features to help their shared customers be safer drivers and save money, while also opening the door to new business opportunities.
