Infiniti Names New Global Operations Vice President
Executive Summary
Francois Goupil de Bouillé will be responsible for global sales, aftersales and dealer network development. He will report to Infiniti President Johan de Nysschen.
VIENNA – Infiniti appoints François Goupil de Bouillé vice president-global operations effective March 1.
Goupil de Bouillé will take over his new position at Infiniti’s global headquarters in Hong Kong after serving as Moscow-based vice president and managing director of Nissan’s regional business unit Nissan Vostok, which is responsible for Russia and Ukraine.
Goupil de Bouillé will be responsible for Infiniti’s global sales, aftersales and dealer network development. He will report to President Johan de Nysschen.
Russia and Ukraine were the first European countries where the Infiniti brand was launched. With last year’s sales of 9,209 vehicles, up 30.8% from 2011, Russia was the largest European Infiniti market in 2012.
A native of France, Goupil de Bouillé joined Ford in 1987 and has been with Nissan since 2002.
Prior to his current position in Russia, Goupil de Bouillé served from 2008 to 2009 as Nissan Europe vice president-sales operations and from 2005 to 2008 as Nissan Sales Central and Eastern Europe managing director, based in Budapest with responsibility for Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia.
Philippe Saillard, currently head of Nissan’s Budapest-based regional business unit, will succeed Goupil de Bouillé in Moscow.
