INTERVIEW-Turkey's Tofas-2009 sales to fall below 2008 level

ISTANBUL, March 25 (Reuters) - Sales this year for carmarker Tofas , a joint venture between Turkish conglomerate Koc Holding and Fiat , will fall below last year's level, chief executive Ali Pandir told Reuters in an interview.

He added Tofas would aim to keep its profit level stable, although he downwardly revised 2009's output target to 220,000-250,000 units from 380,000. Tofas would invest 290 million euros ($395 million) this year, he said. (Reporting by Tolgahan Ozkan)
