LOS ANGELES, July 30 (Reuters) - Bomb-detection equipment maker InVision Technologies Inc. on Friday said it may face an investigation by the U.S. Department of Justice and Securities and Exchange Commission, which could affect its pending acquisition by General Electric Co.
Newark, California-based InVision said it has been conducting an internal investigation into "possible offers of improper payments by distributors in connection with foreign sales activities."
