Italy approves 300 mln euros for areas near Fiat plants


ROME, June 26 (Reuters) - Italy's economic planning committee CIPE has earmarked 300 million euros ($418 million) to help the areas around the Pomigliano and Termini Imerese plants of Fiat , a cabinet official said on Friday. Fiat's Pomigliano plant is based in Naples while the Termini Imerese plant is in Sicily. (Rome newsroom) ($1=.7177 Euro)
