Italy raises 2010-2012 buofuel blending targets


MILAN, Jan 28 (Reuters) - Italy has raised its obligatory blending target for biofuels in total car fuel use to 3.5 percent in 2010 from 3.0 percent in 2009, Economic Development Ministry said in a statement on Thursday. Under a new decree, the target would be raised to 4.0 percent next year and 4.5 percent in 2012, the ministry said. (Reporting by Svetlana Kovalyova, editing by Anthony Barker)
