Italy's Aug car sales seen up 10 pct-UNRAE

MILAN, Aug 27 (Reuters) - Italy's car sales are likely to be up around 10 percent in August from a year ago at around 85,000 units, car makers' group UNRAE told Reuters on Thursday. In August 2008, car sales in the country totalled 77,156 units. In July 2009, car sales were up 6.16 percent to 204,905 units. August sales are usually lower than other months as it is a traditional holiday month in Italy. Government incentives to trade in older, more polluting cars have helped support sales ...
