MILAN, Sept 17 (Reuters) - Italian luxury car maker Maserati, owned by Fiat , may post an operating profit in 2007 after an earlier target was postponed, its CEO Martin Leach said on Friday.
"We are in an investment cycle at the moment but I see a positive trend in 2005 and 2006 and hope to turn the corner (into operating profit) in 2007," Leach said at a presentation on Maserati's 90 anniversary. Maserati last year postponed an initial plan to break into the black in 2005.
