January W.Europe car sales slip after strong Dec

MILAN, Feb 16 (Reuters) - New car registrations in Western Europe slipped 0.2 percent in January after a buying rush in late 2004, official data showed on Wednesday, but Renault steamed ahead of the market with a 15.3 percent rise.
