Japan automakers' global output rises in Jan y/y

TOKYO, Feb 26 (Reuters) - Japan's largest automaker, Toyota Motor Corp , said on Wednesday its global output rose 12.4 percent in January from a year earlier to 478,999 vehicles. Third-ranked Nissan Motor Co produced 228,059 vehicles worldwide, up 11.1 percent.
