SINGAPORE, Sept 20 (Reuters) - Jardine Strategic Holdings said on Friday it intented to make a voluntary conditional partial offer for shares of Singapore's Cycle & Carriage (C&C) at S$4.76 each in cash.
Hong Kong-based Jardine said the total cost of the partial offer would be about S$241.8 million ($136 million) to raise its stake in C&C, one of Asia's largest automotive groups, to 50.2 percent.
Jardine shares closed up three cents at S$2.61, while C&C ended down 16 cents at S$3.58.
