LONDON, Aug 24 (Reuters) - British construction machinery group JCB is interested in buying carmaker Jaguar, the Financial Times reported on its Web site on Thursday. But Anthony Bamford, chairman of privately owned JCB, would only want to buy Jaguar if U.S. owner Ford Motor Co was prepared to split the troubled carmaker from Land Rover, the FT said.
