Kia Motors workers vote in favour of strike action

SEOUL, July 22 (Reuters) - Unionised workers at Kia Motors Corp , South Korea's second-largest auto maker, said on Tuesday they had voted in favour of taking strike action to press for higher wages.

A spokesman for the 23,500-strong union said 67.35 percent of its members voted in support of either partial or full strikes to seek an 11.1 percent rise in pay.

"We are holding a meeting at this moment to decide on the intensity of strike action," he told Reuters.

Kia is an affiliate of South Korea's largest auto maker, Hyundai Motor Co .
