Malaysia's August auto sales up 12.8 pct on year


KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 23 (Reuters) - Malaysia's total vehicle sales in August rose 12.8 percent to 55,208 units from a year earlier, an industry body said on Thursday. Year to date, sales were up 16.5 percent to 409,806 units compared with a year ago, the Malaysian Automotive Association said in a statement.
