KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 28 (Reuters) - A unit of Malaysian auto conglomerate DRB-Hicom Bhd has won a contract to supply vehicle parts to General Motor Corp's plant in Thailand, the Business Times said on Monday.

DRM owns 51 percent of Hicom-Teck See Manufacturing Malaysia Sdn Bhd, which will supply front and rear bumpers for GM's Daewoo Lacetti. Khairudin did not say how much the contract was worth, but the firm will invest 20 million ringgit ($5.3 million) in a fully automated plant in Rayong, Thailand, to produce the parts.

DRB is a supplier and assembler for firms like Japan's Mitsubishi Motors Corp and France's PSA Peugoet-Citreon .
