MAN AG sees steel price to hurt less in 2006

FRANKFURT, Aug 11 (Reuters) - German industrial group MAN AG expects to see a lower impact on earnings from high steel prices next year compared to 2004, the company said on Thursday during a conference call with analysts.

"We have said this year we see something close to 100 million (euros) compared with 2004. Next year we see a much lower impact, in the low two-digit (million euro) range," Chief Executive Hakan Samuelsson said during the call.
