FRANKFURT, Dec 17 (Reuters) - Germany's MAN AG said on Wednesday it and the Weiss family had agreed that their joint shareholding in industrial equipment business SMS would be transferred in two stages to the Weiss family.
No financial details of the deal were given. It must still be approved by MAN's supervisory board.
MAN said SMS would leave the MAN Group with effect from Oct 1, 2003, and would in future be consolidated as a member of the Siemag Weiss group only.
