MG Rover talks with China's SAIC advance


LONDON/FRANKFURT, Nov 20 (Reuters) - British carmaker MG Rover said on Saturday that cooperation talks with Chinese carmaker SAIC had advanced, which a report said would provide over one billion pounds to help save the UK firm. The Independent newspaper said the Shanghai Automotive Industry Corp would provide more than 1 billion pounds of cash under a new joint-venture to be signed early next year.
