ROCHESTER, N.Y., Oct 17 (Reuters) - Automotive repair chain Monro Muffler Brake Inc. on Thursday reported higher quarterly earnings thanks to more oil changes and an acquisition, and stood by its previous guidance for the full year.
The Rochester, New York-based company posted a record net income of $4.9 million, or 52 cents a diluted share, for its fiscal second quarter, up about 32 percent from $3.7 million, or 41 cents a diluted share, in the year-ago period.
