Monro Muffler sees quarterly earnings at low end

CHICAGO, Sept 24 (Reuters) - Monro Muffler Brake Inc. said on Friday it expects fiscal second-quarter earnings to be at the low end of its previous estimate due to weak sales. The company had been expecting earnings of 46 cents to 50 cents a share, in the quarter ending Sept. 25, up from 41 cents in the year-earlier period. Munro said its comparable store sales growth for September will be in the mid-single digit range, with the quarter little changed. It will report results on Oct. 14.
