MUMBAI, Aug 9 (Reuters) - Auto parts maker Motherson Sumi Systems Ltd. said on Thursday it has entered into a joint venture with Japan's Calsonic Kansei to make automotive air-conditioners.
Motherson will hold 49 percent and Calsonic the rest, the Indian firm said in a statement.
The joint venture, to be called Calsonic Kansei Motherson Auto Products Ltd., will make air conditioners for Japanese car makers in India, Motherson said.
