LONDON, June 2 (Reuters) - Mercedes-run Ilmor, who build McLaren's Formula One engines, will be a 100 percent subsidiary of DaimlerChrysler by the end of September, Mercedes said on Thursday.
The British-based company will be renamed Mercedes-Benz High Performance Engines. DaimlerChrysler, Mercedes' parent, took majority control of Ilmor in 2002.
