LONDON, Feb 16 (Reuters) - Champions Renault quit the Grand Prix Manufacturers' Association on Friday, a move likely to hasten the demise of a group whose aims in Formula One have largely been achieved.
The French manufacturer said on the team Web site (www.ing-renaultf1.com) that the decision was effective immediately.
