NABI wins $9 mln Chicago autobus order

BUDAPEST, Oct 11 (Reuters) - Hungarian busmaker NABI has been awarded a $9 million order from the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) to deliver 25 lightweight glass fibre reinforced body 45C-LFW "CompoBus" models, NABI said on Friday. The buses are expected to be delivered in the first half of 2004, NABI said in a statement, adding that it was its second contract with CTA, which ordered 230 buses, 60LFW models, in January 2001.

At 1302 GMT NABI traded at 3,515 forints, up 135.
