SAN FRANCISCO, July 19 (Reuters) - NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. left a California hospital on Monday after treatment for second-degree burns suffered when his car burst into flames during a practice run for a race.
Earnhardt left the University of California, Davis Medical Center late on Monday morning after being treated for burns on the insides of both legs and on his chin, the hospital said in a statement.
