WARRENVILLE, Ill., Oct 2 (Reuters) - International Truck and Engine Corp., the operating company of Navistar International Corp , and the United Auto Workers union on Wednesday agreed to recess labor talks until Monday, the company said.
The two sides agreed to extend the existing contract, which expired Tuesday, on a day-to-day basis, subject to termination with 24 hours advance notice by either the company or the union, Navistar said.
