LONDON, Sept 18 (Reuters) - New rules governing child car seat restraints come into force in Britain on Monday in a move the government says will prevent up to 2,000 child deaths and injuries every year.
All children under 12 years old must have the appropriate restraint whether it is a full child seat or a booster seat, unless they are taller than 135 cm (about 4 foot 5 inches).
