FRANKFURT, Sept 12 (Reuters) - The new head of DaimlerChrysler's Mercedes Car Group, Dieter Zetsche, said he stood by the premium division's previous goal of generating a 7 percent oprating margin by 2007.
"This 7 percent figure has been raised and I commit myself to it," he told reporters on Monday at the Frankfurt car show.
