DETROIT – Though final U.S. sales for 2001 will not be made public until next week, Ford Motor Co. has declared its F-Series winner of the best-selling truck race. Through November, Ford says its dealers delivered 827,319 F-Series trucks to U.S. customers, marking the 25th consecutive year the storied line has earned best-selling honors. At current sales rates, Ford says its next-nearest competitor – Chevrolet Silverado – would need three months to match totals accumulated by F-Series. ...
