Aston Martin plans to end assembly operations at two of its plants in the U.K., shifting output to a new multi-million dollar plant in Gaydon, England, published reports say. The plan calls for the closure of assembly operations at Aston Martin’s Newport Pagnell and Bloxham, U.K., plants. Nearly 600 employees will be transferred as a result of the move.
