Audi of America Inc. says the new ’03 Audi RS 6 sedan will base at $82,700 when it goes on sale in the U.S. in July. The RS 6’s 4.2L, V-8 engine makes 450 hp and 415 lb.-ft. (563 Nm) of torque and was inspired by Audi Le Mans-winning R8 race car. Audi says it will be one of the fastest sports sedan ever to be sold in the U.S., reaching 60 mph (97 km/h) in just 4.6 seconds.
