CANBERRA – The Australian market resumed its record-breaking run in March, as sales rose 0.6% to 87,146 units, surpassing the high for the month set a year ago.
Industry sales were at a record level in January, as well, before taking a 4.6% dip in February.
The March tally left first-quarter sales at 234,605 units – down 2,887, or 1.2%, from the same period last year.
