Bentley Names Two to North America Posts

Christophe Georges, who takes over as chief operating officer in North America, is credited with increasing Bentley sales 20-fold in Europe.

Bentley Motor Cars Ltd. bolsters its North America team, naming two executives to key posts.

Geoff Dowding, currently worldwide operations director, also will assume the role of vice president-Bentley Motors Inc. in the U.S. effective immediately. The move is expected to better connect the North American operations with Bentley’s Crewe, U.K., factory.

Christophe Georges, currently managing director of Berlin-based Bentley Europe, is named chief operating officer for the North American arm. A 9-year Bentley veteran, he is credited with increasing the marque’s sales 20-fold in Europe during his tenure in Berlin and extending the brand into six new markets, including Russia. His U.S. arrival date has not been determined.
