BMW AG says third-quarter profits rose 7.6% to €779 million ($995 million) on a 9.6% increase in global vehicle deliveries. The German auto maker expects to post record revenue, earnings and vehicle sales for the full year. The BMW brand also is poised to overtake the Mercedes-Benz Group in total 2004 sales.
