The Canadian government is providing its National Research Council with C$27 million ($26.8 million) to help develop an Aluminum Technology Center in Quebec’s Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean area.
The NRC facility provides firms, government organizations and university researchers with wide-ranging support for the exploration of profitable ways to transform aluminum into various industrial components.
