NANJING — A DaimlerChrysler AG official and his family were slain in their home during a burglary attempt in this eastern city. Juergen Pfrang, his wife, 14-year-old daughter and 12-year-old son were stabbed to death April 2 in their home in a fenced compound. Pfrang served as deputy general manager of the Yaxing-Benz joint-venture bus manufacturing plant in nearby Yangzhou. He had been at the plant since 1997 and was one of 38 expatriates living in China and working for DaimlerChrysler. ...
