DC Ponders Firepower, Challenger

Chrysler Group will decide by mid-September how to proceed with the Dodge Challenger muscle car and whether or not to build the Chrysler Firepower 2-seat Corvette-fighter. CEO Tom LaSorda says senior executives met to evaluate business cases for the concepts. LaSorda confirms Chrysler would assemble the Challenger, not Austria-based Magna Steyr Fahrzeugtechnik AG & Co. KG.
