Fiat Auto SpA will pull the curtain back on a number of Panda models at the upcoming Paris auto show, including the Panda 4x4, Panda Cross, Panda Alessi, Panda Monster and brand new Panda Panda and Panda 100 HP.

Sharing the Fiat show stand will be three Grande Punto concepts, which the auto maker says convey “sportiness, play and hi-tech entertainment and telephony.”

The three Grande Puntos include: the Grande Punto Sport, which Fiat describes as the “Need For Speed” version; a Grande Punto equipped with a 1.4L 16-valve Starjet engine; and the 5-door Grande Punto Emotion.

One of the cars, which was not specified, will feature the world’s first tribal tattoo kit. The kit will allow customers to personalize their Fiats with removable “tattoos” made out of an opaque film. Fiat says there is no risk of damaging the body when customers wish to remove or replace a tattoo.

Fiat also will roll out environmentally friendly Multipla Multi-Eco and Panda Panda Concept cars. The two will join the methane-powered Doblo and Punto in Fiat’s alternative-fueled vehicle stable. Fiat currently is the European leader sales of methane-fueled cars, with more than 24,000 units delivered in 2005, the auto maker says.

In addition, Fiat will unveil the Multipla Multi-Eco Concept Car and the Lab concept, which Fiat describes as a “virtual workshop” for the new Fiat 500.

The ’07 Croma and Sedici will bow at the show, as well, which is open to the public Sept. 30-Oct. 15.
