Off-road lovers will be the focus of the Panda 4x4, while the Panda Alessi pays homage to Italian industrial design.
The Panda 4x4, which will go on sale throughout Europe by the end of October, will feature a 60-hp 1.2L diesel engine, with a 70-hp 1.3L diesel Multijet engine to be added later. The Panda 4x4 will be offered in two trim levels, the base model and the up-level Climbing.expects the new 4x4 model to boost sales of the entire Panda line.

The Panda 4x4 Climbing presents itself as a small, stylish off-roader capable of tackling any situation, with an extra touch of sophistication inside and out. It is an ideal car for extroverts on the move, the Italian auto maker says.
Meanwhile, the base Panda 4x4 will be marketed as a more practical, down-to-earth vehicle.
All models in the Panda 4x4 range feature small dimensions – the Climbing version, for instance, measures 140.5-ins. (357-cm) long, 63.0-ins. (160-cm) wide and 64.0–ins. (163-cm) high. The emphasis is on handling, off-road prowess via greater ground clearance and a tight turning radius.
Minimum ground clearance for the base Panda 4x4 comes in at 6.3 ins. (16.0 cm), while the Panda Climbing offers 6.5 ins. (16.5 cm). The new vehicle features a permanent 4-wheel-drive system with a viscous coupling and two differentials that come into play automatically when required to tackle off-road situations.
Inside, the Panda 4x4 offers a distinctive and sophisticated interior, featuring special fabric trim.

The exterior of the prototype retains the original personality of the standard model, with a number of new styling and color details on the bumpers, roof rack, door moldings and the wheel-well trim.
Panda Alessi’s interior features radical changes over the current Panda model, via new graphics on the gauge cluster, new colors and an all-new instrument panel.
Alessi, one of the most famous Italian design brands, has highlighted the versatility of the Panda concept without changing its identity. Fiat says the Panda Alessi concept represents a new interpretation of the Panda.
