Ford ends' '95 on a low note

Ford Motor Co.'s earnings for fourth-quarter and full-year 1995 will be lower than 1994 because of a weakening U.S. automotive market and the costly introductions of replacements for the company's two top-selling vehicles, says Chairman Alex Trotman. In 1994 Ford earned $5.3 billion, and for the first nine months of '95 earned $3.2 billion.
