Ford’s Strong 2009 Financial Results Unlikely to Soften Union Criticism

Ford Motor Co.’s $2.7 billion profit in 2009 likely will provide ammunition to a growing number of United Auto Workers members that were angered when the auto maker restored merit pay and benefits to salaried workers last year.
