Future Role of Lightweight Composites in Fuel Economy Unclear

TROY, MI – The political climate seems ideal for a surge in the use of lightweight-composite materials in cars and trucks, but with the auto industry mired in recession and oil prices half what they were at last year’s peak, no one is predicting this will happen soon.
