GM Holden Beefs Up Small-Car Lineup

CANBERRA – GM Holden Ltd. demonstrates the scope of its small-car renaissance with the launch of the subcompact Barina and the upcoming all-new Viva nameplate.

The Australian auto maker has delivered eight new cars to market in the past four months, including the Tigra hardtop convertible, making good on its promise to Australian car buyers that 2005 would be its “Year of the Small Car,” says GM Holden Chairman and Managing Director Denny Mooney.
