GM Puts 8-Year, 100,000-Mile Warranty on Chevy Volt Propulsion System

BROWNSTOWN TWP., MI – General Motor Co. says today it will stand behind the lithium-ion powertrain in the coming Chevrolet Volt extended-range electric vehicle for eight years or 100,000 miles (160,930 km).
