General Motors Co. finished a tumultuous 2009 with a seventh straight year of declining U.S. market share, as the auto maker witnessed its portion of the new-vehicle sales market sink to an all-time low. GM closed out 2009 with a 19.9% share, Ward’s data shows. Total sales of 2.1 million vehicles were down 30%, compared with 2008, marking seven consecutive years of record lows.
