GM Unveils New Direct Injection V-6

PONTIAC, MI – General Motors Corp. adds a new member to its growing list of engines employing gasoline direct-fuel injection (DI) with the unveiling of a new, global V-6 engine.

Shown here at GM Powertrain headquarters, the new 3.6L mill utilizes dual-phase variable-valve timing (VVT) and is GM’s third powerplant with gasoline DI technology.
