Holden Wins Cadillac SRX Engine Contract; Remains ‘Vital’ Subsidiary to GM

GM Holden Ltd. scores an early success in its hunt for export markets to replace the loss of its contract to export 30,000 Pontiac G8s annually to the U.S., winning an engine contract for Mexican-built Cadillacs.

Chairman and Managing Director Mark Reuss says the Australian auto maker aims to recoup its export losses with new programs.
