Hyundai Motor Co. Ltd. is planning to launch production of its new NF replacement for the Sonata passenger car at its plant in Asan, South Korea, early in August, with no firm date established as yet, a Hyundai spokesman says. The vehicle essentially is identical to the model that will be produced in 2005 at the new Hyundai plant in Montgomery, AL. The spokesman says the NF likely will carry the Sonata name and will be shown at the Paris auto show in September.
