DealerTrack unveils a new inventory-management system, InventoryPro, which the firm says provides dealers with analytical tools to manage inventory turnover by customizing their sales history and market data.

“Inventory management is on the top of the list,” says DealerTrack's Chairman and CEO Mark O'Neil.

InventoryPro, which serves as a replacement for DealerWire, allows dealers to stock more of the models that sell faster, the company says, while ridding inventories of less-profitable vehicles.

Using InventoryPro, dealers also can learn values from the Manheim Market Report, Black Book and Kelley Blue Book in order to properly price vehicles.
